Happy Bench Monday

I belong to Flickr a photo sharing site that has a fun little group called Bench Monday. Only on Mondays are you allowed to take a picture of you or someone standing on something. So fun. Here are a few of mine..My son who is fourteen and almost six feet tall is my model. He never complains! Ha..things we make our kids do! Happy Bench Monday!

No acorn tree in our backyard so we have a special spot where we go each year to gather them.They are not called acorn trees..i know. Oak trees..but I like to call them little acorn trees.

Nice cozy Sunday at my house..

I bought this gate with the intent to hang it on my wall in my house somewhere. But of course it is just sitting out in my yard. I put a crooked bucket of summer flowers there and decided to take a pic of it. Sometimes things work..and sometimes they don't!

My sweet friend Kate with her baby girl. Kate use to work for me at my flower business. We have remained friends. She is one of the most creative people I know. She has an eye for art. Incredible. She makes some cute kids too I must say.

On the picture front. I had to cancel two babies and one maternity shoot because I have been sick. The maternity shoot delivered. Darn. But hopefully we will get some cute newborn shoots next week.  If I feel well enough. I hate being sick! UGH..

Photo Workshop

Last month I attended a workshop in Newport Beach California. This is a family that were one of the models that we had the opportunity to photograph. 

The workshop was amazing. I was among twenty other women photographer's who spent three days on the beach  learning, laughing, discovering oh and eating. It was a life changing experience for me. !

I truly love this chapter in my life and feel very blessed. Is this not the cutest family?
